GoT Deaths Season 4
Game of Thrones is a fantasy TV show created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. The commercially successful show is based on the novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R. R. Martin who also plays a part on the show. The action takes places in a fictitious world on two continents, Westeros and Essos. The seven kingdoms of Westeros resemble the European dark age, and are screened from an area of the eternal winter by a huge wall in the north. Spring, summer, fall and winter can last several years or even decades, the length is changeable and not predictable.
The Story begins at the ending of a longlasting summer, and is told mostly parallel in three story lines. Tension is building up between the mighty noble houses which lend to a fight over the throne. Winter is coming and with it a danger that cant be ignored. In Essos Daenerys Targaryen, the heiress of the discharged royal family of Westeros is anxious to ascend the throne.
The complex action includes numerous figures and addresses politics, power plays, wars and religions. A range of characters showing nuanced shades of moral; also, many of the main figures die. The first episodes air date was on April 17, 2011. All together 8 seasons were planned to be aired by the Tv broadcaster HBO. The first six seasons have ten episodes each, the seventh has seven, and the eighth has six. The eighth season is airing every sunday evening on HBO since April 14, 2019.
