Champions League Titles Quiz
The UEFA Champions League was founded in 1955, at that time known as the European Champion Clubs' Cup, and rebranded in 1992. It was a straight knockout tournament only for champions clubs of each national championship. Since then it has been expanded and now the competitors are chosen this way: The last Champions and Europe League winner, the champions of the best ten European leagues, the second-placed of the best six leagues and third and fourth-placed of the best three leagues. The "best leagues" are determined by a specific ranking system, the so-called "UEFA coefficent." The introduction of the UEFA Champions League was so successful that it was adopted by many other sports like ping-pong, volleyball and more.
